Ralph L. Guist, 71, Boscobel, died Tuesday April 27, 2004 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital La Crosse, surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 9, 1932 in Westfork, Richland Co., to Eben and Flossie (White) Guist. He was married June 17, 1960, at the Boscobel United Methodist Church. Ralph worked for the City of Boscobel after 29 years of service. Retiring in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Guist of Boscobel; two daughters, Pam (Dan) Karasek of Fennimore, and Brenda (Jim Olson) Guist of Boscobel; two sons "Randy" Clyde (Carol) Guist and Kevin (Phyllis) Guist, all of Boscobel; eight grandchildren; four sisters Camilla Colson of Madison, "Pat" Geneva (William "Frank") Dilley of Janesville, "Lee" Leila (John) Dilley of Pardeeville and Beverly (Dennis) King of Boscobel.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Peggy, a brother Clyde, and his parents.

Services were held at United Methodist Church in Boscobel with Pastor Stan Pegram officiating and burial in the Blue River Cemetery.

The Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel was in charge of arrangements.
