Rosa G. Alvarez, age 87, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Rosa G. Alvarez was born on June 14, 1927 to Manuela and Doroteo Guzman. She was a homemaker. Rosa will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cindy Guzman, her son, Ricky Alvarez, granddaughter, Rosie-Lee Perez and grandson, Adrian Reyes.
Rosa G. Alvarez is survived by her daughters; Mary Alice Perez, Olivia G. Rodriguez (Ray), Diana Reyes (Victor), Elizabeth Vera, Basilia Martinez (Aurelio Sr.); her sons, Raymundo G. Alvarez (Hermelinda), Johnny Alvarez of California; Raul Garza; her sister, Cruz Martinez; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren , great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home on with a Rosary to be recited.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: David Alvarez, Paul Perez, Matthew Stevens, Victor Reyes, Ronnie Rodriguez and Aurelio Martinez Jr.
