This grave is one of the 8 ASSUMED graves identified in the manuscript "The Drake Cemetery" by Albert W. Smith and the assumption (That she is buried in Grave 15) was wrong. Information provided by a FindaGrave Volunteer on June 7, 2021 lead to her actual grave location. This Memorial exists now only to help clarify the situation at the cemetery and in the documentation. Clara is buried with her twin sister Carrie in the Agawam Cemetery in Wareham, MA.

Clara was the daughter of George Edward Hackett and Lavinia Maria Lincoln. Clara had siblings:
Hattie M. - April 8, 1857
Edward Nelson - May 2, 1860
Carrie F (twin) - July 3, 1862
George Walter. December 24, 1863
Wilfred D. - May 15, 1866
Anna M. - January 19, 1868
Herbert J. - November 2, 1872
James A. - December 22, 1875
(James and Herbert were born in Middleborough, and the others were born in Taunton)

She was a twin, and her twin sister was Carrie Freeman Hackett.

Clara married Enos Drake on November 13, 1880 in Middleborough, Plymouth county, Massachusetts. They had children:
George Enoch born May 16, 1885
Enos was the son of a Enoch Drake Jr and Lucy Eaton. He was born on January 31, 1861 in Middleborough, Plymouth county, Massachusetts.

Clara appears in the 1900 census. She appears to have been replaced as Enos's wife by Elizabeth in the 1910 census. However, I can not find a death for Clara and a marriage for Elizabeth. Enos is a widow in the 1920 census.

Note from February 22, 2013: Albert states that Clara was the first wife of Enos Drake. This appears to be wrong, or not explained well. She was the wife of Enos Jr, not Enos Sr. So, Albert's assumption might be wrong. Researching...
