MADISON / BELLEVILLE - Patricia Babler, of Madison and Belleville, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2002, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Oct. 29, 1958, in Dodgeville, the daughter of Floyd R. and Mildred Haden. Pat graduated from Belleville High School, class of 1976. She was married to Bradley Babler. Patricia owned and operated Badger Tailors of Madison and had eclectic and varied interests, such as antique hats, quilting, collecting antique-sewing equipment, crafting and caning chairs. She loved life to the fullest. Survivors include her mother, Mildred Haden of Belleville; two sisters, Kay (Keith) Vandervort of Fond du Lac, and Nancy (William) Haden Meyer of Madison; a sister-in-law, Rose Haden of Hudson, Wis.; nephews and nieces, Lauren Meyer, Brett Meyer and Cory Meyer, all of Madison, Jennifer Haden of Hudson, Jeffrey (Lisa) Peters of Redgranite, and Diane (David) Medinger of Mequon; and great-nephews, Jack Peters and Aiden Medinger. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd; and brother, Richard. Family memorial services will be held at a later date. Becker-Beal Funeral Home, Belleville, will be serving the family.
