Josephine V. Hafeman, 88, Green Bay, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014. She was born February 22, 1926, in Suamico to Charles and Mary (Kapla) Kaczmarek.

Josephine married Harvey Hafeman on Dec. 28, 1946, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. They enjoyed polka dancing and traveling in their younger years. She was a member of St. Jude Parish. Josephine loved making doilies, gardening and canning her harvest.

She is survived by her sons, Rev. Harry Hafeman and Daniel (Robin) Hafeman; daughters, Sharon (Thomas) Kalinosky and Susan (Martin) Schultz; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Kathryn, Tyler, and Brett; a brother, Roman Kaczmarek, and a sister, Regina Prokop.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey G. Hafeman on April 15, 2002; a brother, a sister and two brothers-in-law, Johanna and Frank Paczkowski, and Raymond Prokop.

Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with her son, Rev. Harry Hafeman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
