Aisha Rafiq Hafiz, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother was cherished by her family. A vibrant woman with lots of smiles and hugs, she had a story and blessing for every occasion. She will be remembered for her incredible fight with cancer and health issues that showed us all that life is about who we love and what we give.
Aisha is survived by her husband of 60 years Mohammad Rafiq Hafiz, her five children Shahida Hafiz, Naveeda Burris, Khalda Malik, Tariq Hafiz, and Shazia Chughtai, and her fourteen grandchildren.
Janaza prayers will be held Tuesday Aug. 15, 2017 at ODU Islamic Center, 1442 West 49th Street Norfolk, VA 23508. 1 pm following Zuhr Prayers.
Her interment will be held at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens following the Zuhr Prayers.
