She graduated from Los Angeles HS and from UCLA . She married the late Fred Hagen of Riverside. Mrs. Hagen taught English at Hemet HS while raising three sons.
She is predeceased by her eldest, Jerry Hagen, and survived by Peter Hagen and Michael Hagen. Later settled in Covina, Mrs. Hagen was a respected Latin teacher at Covina HS for 20 years. She remained in her Covina home with the aid of her housemate, Dixie Meadows, until 2008. Frances was known for her exotic world travels. She was an avid photographer, loved animals, and enjoyed playing golf and reading.
Mrs. Hagen will buried at Olivewood in Riverside on June 13 at 10:30 am.
