Billy Jay Hagerman, 56, passed away at his home in Pampa on June 19, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2013, at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Powell, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hagerman was born on October 21, 1956 in Pampa, TX to Billy Joe and Freda Hagerman. After graduating from Pampa High School he briefly attended Texas Tech University before joining the United States Air Force. He met the love of his life Sheila through a mutual friend and moved to South Dakota, where he became father to two sons, Adam (now of Austin) and Travis (now of Plainview.) He is preceded in death by his father and wife, and is survived by his mother, two sons, and his four siblings Kimberly Davis of Tulsa, OK, Richard Hagerman of Lexington, KY, Mark Hagerman of Robinson, TX, and Joanna Young of Brownwood, TX.
His family requests that memorials be made to Pampa Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 939, Pampa, Texas 79066-0939.
