Article directly following the above, edited: Elizabeth Acheson was born in Van Wert county, October 27, 1841, and fell asleep at her home in Willshire, Ohio,...aged 76 years, 10 months and 29 days. September 18, 1860, she was united in marriage with John Acheson, and for 58 years they have walked the path of life together. To this union were born eight children - five sons and three daughters - Franklin, Josephine Bartlett and Myrtle having preceded their mother in death. Her whole life, with the exception of three years, was lived in Van Wert county. She was brought up in the Presbyterian faith, but in early married life she was converted, and joined the Pleasant Chapel M.E. church. After moving to Willshire she reconsecrated herself to God and united with the M.E. church of this village. She remained true to her Master until the end came. Her testimony and eanrest zeal for the Master will never be forgotten. It can truly be said of her that she was a good woman. She leaves to mourn their loss, her aged companion; four sons, Charles of Celina; Ira, of Van Wert; Elza and Ward of this village, and one daughter, Mrs. Logan Wolfe, also of this village; one brother, John Hagerman of Nebraska, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Carlo of Van Wert, and Mrs. Edwin Carlo of St. Paris, O., 12 grandchildren and a host of friends."
