Funeral services for Olga Elizabeth Anderson, 96, of Milaca, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Tom Sahistrom and the Rev. Jon Olson officiating.

Visitation will be in the church one hour before the services.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Pallbearers are grandsons, Ryan Anderson, Scott Anderson, Richard Ree, Marshall Ree, and Eliott Larson.

Olga died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006 at the Milaca Elim Home.

She was born Dec. 1, 1909 on the Grandin farm in Trail County, N.D. to John and Mary (Erickson) Hagman. Olga started school near the Red River and Halstad, Minn. From there the family moved to a farm near Braham for a short time and then to a farm northwest of Milaca where she grew up. Richard and Olga started and made their home in Sunnyside and then moved to a farm just north of Milaca where they continued to operate their dairy farm until they retired and moved into Milaca. Olga loved nature, studying maps, traveling and their many camping trips. She enjoys cats, flowers, gardening, reading, Scrabble and crocheting afghans.

Olga is survived by children, Vincent and wife Sharon Anderson of Fridley, Minn., Shirley and husband Dan Seavey of Seward, Ark. and Donna Marie of Minneapolis; son-in-law, Norman Ree of columbia Heights, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vincent Hagman; husband, Richard Anderson; daughter, Marlene Ree; and two grandchildren.
