Lucy worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as a business representative in North District Business Office. On our lunch breaks she would teach me how to play backgammon. She was a first cousin to Larry Hagman and attended several cast parties from the set of "Dallas" during its early years. She spent her summers on her grandparents farm in Arlington, where Six Flags now is located. They had several acres of peach trees there.
