Nancy J. (Hahn) Contey, 46, of Nutley, N.J., died peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660-670 Allwood Rd., Clifton, N.J., with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton, N.J. Entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. in Orange, N.J., Nancy resided in Clifton before moving to Nutley 13 years ago. She was a graduate of Paul VI Regional High School in Clifton and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Nancy was employed as the treasurer of the Charles F. Hahn Insurance Agency in Clifton. She was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed hosting celebrations with family and friends, the beach at Long Beach Island, and beagles. Nancy was the beloved wife of Frank K. Contey; the loving mother of Alex B. Contey of Nutley; the precious daughter of Gordon and Carol (Lombardy) Hahn of Clifton; dear daughter-in-law of Ann Contey of Nutley; the loving sister of Gordon Hahn and wife, Marina, of Mountain View, Calif., and Chuck Hahn and wife, Claudia, of West Caldwell, N.J.; the cherished granddaughter of Dorothy Lombardy of North Bergen, N.J., and the loving aunt of Gordon and Thurmon Hahn.
