Churchville: Nina M. Ball, age 88, April 27, 2013. Mrs. Ball was a charter member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Chili. She initially worked at an Air Force plant during WWII, and eventually moved on to a real estate career, becoming a broker and formed her own brokerage business. She was also the first female real estate broker to be named to the GRAR board.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Ball & Charles (Cindy) Ball; daughter, Carolyn (William) VanHouter; sister, Bessie Grasso; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours on Tuesday from 6 ~ 9 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rte. 19 north), LeRoy, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Grove Place Cemetery in Chili.
