PJ: Feb., 1972: Erie, Pa.: Mrs. Gussie R. Annis, 89, formerly of 155 Buffalo St., Jamestown, N.Y., died at 6 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 17, 1972) in the Battersby Convalescent Home here. She was the widow of Townsend Annis.
She was born in Akeley, June 16, 1882, a daughter of Frank and Anna Adams Hale.
Mrs. Annis was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Jamestown.
Surviving are two nieces, Dorothy Senecal, Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Milton Miller, Kennedy, N.Y.; and a great-niece, Mrs. Roberta Putney, Bemus Point.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown, N.Y.
