Helen A. Abbott, 68, of Faribault died Sept. 26, 1994, at her home following a brief illness. Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault with the Rev. James L. Snell officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Northfield. Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also in the church one hour prior to the service. Hall was born on May 26, 1926, in Northfield to William and Adelaide (Tralle) Hall. She graduated from Northfield High School in 1944 and then worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Earl D. Abbott on June 4, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1985; her parents; one sister, Marion Kleeberger; and two brothers, Ralph and Richard Hall. She is survived by three daughters, Karen Abbott (and Curtis Eidhammer) of Lake Crystal, Nanette of Faribault and Lisa (and Bryan) Aune of Eagan; two grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Dunlay of Sacramento, Calif., and Arlene Boevers of Northfield; and three brothers, Fran of Boulder, Colo., and Roger and John, both of Northfield. Arrangements were made by Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
