Margaret Estenson, 85, Minot, ND, April 10, 2003 in a Minot hospital.

Margaret was born March 26, 1918, in Oak Valley Township, rural Bottineau, ND, the daughter of Arthur and Flora (Cranston) Hall. She was raised and educated in that area.

On February 15, 1937 she married Clifford "Cuff" Estenson at the Presbyterian Church in Bottineau. Following their marriage they made their home in the Gardena area. In 1956 they moved to Minot. While in Minot Margaret worked at the Piggly Wiggly luncheonette and later at Dotty Dunn's Hat Shop. She then worked as a cook at Bell School until 1972. Following that she was employed at Ellison's Department Store luncheonette until her retirement. Clifford died October 10, 1979. Margaret continued to live in Minot and in January of 2000 she entered Edgewood Vista where she lived until February 27, 2003, when she entered Trinity Homes, where she since had lived.

Margaret was a very active member of First Lutheran Church, Minot. She was active with the church quilters, and made helped make lefse for the Hostfest and pies for the North Dakota State Fair. While living at the Milton Young Towers in Minot she served on many committees and also called Bingo. She loved her grandchildren, and was very supportive for all of her family. Margaret loved music and dancing.

Survivors: Son, Stanley C. (Irene) Estenson, Minot; two grandchildren, Dale (Christina) Estenson, Las Vegas, NV, and Linda (Robert) Mooberry, Arlington, TX; three great-grandchildren, Laura, Brian and Sarah, Estenson, all of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Lloyd (Ida) Hall, Roseville, MN; sisters-in-law, Leona and Arla Hall, both of Bottineau, Lois Hall, Sandpoint, ID, and Rose Hall, Stillwater, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford "Cuff" Estenson; infant son, James Estenson; two grandchildren, Bradley and Lynn Marie Estenson; her parents; sisters, Euphemia Boye, Hazel and Jean Zorn, Myrtle Puppe, Mable Manning, Agnes Styren, Edna Hett and an infant sister, Mary Hall; brothers, Wilbur, Elmer, Leonard, Allen and Raymond Hall.
