Mrs. C.L. Baker –
There passed to rest at her home, Tremont, N.S., February 25th, 1930 Mrs. C.L. Baker at the age of 69 years, after a lingering illness through which she was cared for by her daughter, Mrs. S.M. Ward. The deceased united with the Lower Aylesford Baptist Church in the year 1912, following her dismission from the Baptist Church at St. Croix, where she had previously been a member. She leaves to mourn their loss, a husband, and two children, Percy of Middleton and Mrs. S,M. Ward at home; also a brother in Bridgetown and a brother and sister in Massachusetts. The funeral services were conducted at the home by her pastor, Rev. J. Neilson. Interment was at Tremont Cemetery.
