DOVER — Anita H. Anderson of Dover passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at her caregiver’s home in Frankford, Del.. She was 100 yrs old Mrs. Anderson was born Dec. 31, 1914 in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Edwin C. Halsey, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Augusta Halsey.
She was a homemaker and was -member of the Homemakers Club of Templeville. Mrs. Anderson also volunteered at Eastern Shore Junior Academy where she was a benefactor and volunteered at Wesleyan Nursing Home. She was a former member of the Middletown Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Townsend; with current membership in Sussex Central S.D.A. Church, Georgetown.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan W. Anderson in 1972; an older sister, and her brother, Edwin C Halsey, Jr. 2014 Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at the Middletown Seventh Day Adventist Church, 858 Noxontown Road, Townsend. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in the Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, MD.
