She was born July 18, 1923 in Ritchie County, the daughter of the late Earl S. and Osa Jane Dawson Hardman. Lyda worked in sales at J.C. Penny, Parkersburg and the former Viscoe Plant.
She is survived by a son, Charles W. Waide of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Delvin W. Waide and 2nd husband William Casto; three sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 with Rev. John Lowther officiating at The Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.
