Beverly Sue "Sue" Harlan, 65, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at St. John's Hospital.

She was born July 17, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of James Raymond and Pauline (Rodgers) Davis. Her parents, two sisters, Sharon Meeks and Juanita Waltermath, and two brothers, Bill and Bob Davis preceded her in death.

She was a 1969 graduate of Lanphier High School. She retired in May of 2012 from St. John's Hospital where she served as a Nurse Tech for over 30 years. She served most of that time in Pediatrics with children she loved.

Sue married Dewey D. Harlan April 20, 1994 and he preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1997. She loved to bowl, and was a member of several teams at King Pin Lanes. She also played darts and pitched horse shoes. Sue enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and took pride in her yard. Above all, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. Her family was the most important thing in her life.

Surviving is her son, Troy , seven grandchildren; , her great granddaughter,, her brothers, Roger and Larry,l as sisters, Kathy , Marlene and Alice. There are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
