SPRINGFIELD - Dora E. Clark, 93, of Springfield died at 11:03 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Capitol Care Center.

She was born near McLeansboro, Aug. 7, 1915, the daughter of Frederick and Allie (Buchanan) Harlan. Dora married Franklin Clark on Aug. 16, 1935, and he preceded her in 1964.

Mrs. Clark was a member of Berlin Christian Church. She worked as an assembler at Bunn-O-Matic for 10 years, retiring in 1977.

Surviving are three sons, Gerald "Gene" and wife, Eva Clark, of Sherman, Clifford "Kip" and wife, Kay Clark, and Paul "Dick" Clark, both of Springfield; a daughter, Sharon and husband, Larry Cullers, of Springfield; a son-in-law, Raymond Harlow of Nokomis; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eilene McAfee of Aurora, Colo., Bernice and husband, Dick Young, and Alice and husband, Dean Hopper, both of Springfield; two brothers, William Harlan of Shipman and Delmar and wife, Margaret Harlan, of Cantrall; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Norma Harlow; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Bisch & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Payne will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Bisch & Son. Burial will be in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin.
