Phyllis F. Gade, 73, of Eaton, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind.

Born Oct. 17, 1930, in West Elkton, she was the daughter of Frank and Clara M. (Wing) Harris. She had been a nursing administrator at Gade Rest Home in Eaton. Mrs. Gade was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard P. Gade, on March 7, 1997; brother, Charles H. Harris; and sister, Lillian Coty.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Debbie Gade of Wellington, Fla., Rick and Cathy Gade of Eaton, and Michael Gade of Chattanooga, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah Ashley, Heather, Miles, Katie and Betsy; and a brother, Clifford Harris of West Carrollton.

Graveside services were Friday, Aug. 13, at Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, with Pastor Frankie Hunt officiating. There was no public calling. Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, was in charge of arrangements.
