Mrs. Matilda Gibbs, 91, a former resident of 316 W. High St., Eaton, died Tuesday morning at Cedar Springs Care Center near New Paris.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ora Fox of Dayton; three sons, Henry Gibbs of Eaton, Samuel Gibbs of Dayton, and Edwin Gibbs of Lawrence, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Barbara Jenkins of Corbin, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh, in 1976, and a daughter, Mrs. Helen Householder, in 1977.
Friends may call at the Girton-Schmidt Memorial Home, Eaton, from 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Services will be conducted there at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
