Longtime Taft resident Maggie "Mae" Adams was interred next to her husband at the West Side Cemetery and a memorial services was held at the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Adams was born on September 17, 1918 in Cascilla, Mississippi and died on November 26, 1986 in Fresno, California, where she has been residing for the last two years.
She and her husband came to California on their honeymoon in 1925 and raised five children in Taft.
She is survived by five children, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren .
