Mrs. Gorman, who leaves 86 survivors, formerly resided at 12 S. Madison Park Terr, for 51 years. she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. She was born June 21, 1871, at Colfax, Iowa, a daughter of John and Ann (Warren) Hartnett. On April 23, 1889, she was married at Colfax, Iowa to James Gorman, who died in 1952.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Lena) Heiden and Mrs. John (Maude) Doahoe, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Charles (Ellen) Foote, Rock Island; a son Maurice Gorman of Peoria, 18 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Two daughters preceded her in death
