Hazel E. Gorrell, 97, of Friendly, died Friday at her home. Gorrell was a member of the Friendly Church of Christ.
She was born in Atwood, WV, a daughter of the late Elias and Susan Haught.
She is survived by three sons; six daughters; two sisters; forty grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gorrell, in 1952; four sons, Ellis, Thomas, Edward, and Louis Gorrell; one brother, and two sisters.
The funeral will be 1 pm Monday at Eckels-Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville. Burial will be in Lazear Chapel Cemetery, Tyler County.
