Mabel Edith Haught, 86, of Sistersville Center, formerly of Wilbur, depated this life Friday, January 24, 2014 in the facility. She was born May 17, 1927 in McKim a daughter of the late Issac and Etta Stewart Hill Dawson.

Mabel was a homemaker and a member of The Tyler River of Life Church, Tyler City.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Herman Haught in 2010. A son Heubert Charles Haught. Brothers; Edward, Cecil, Emery and Denver Dawson. Sister June Hamrick Goff. Half brother Harley Hill. Half sisters; Clara Doak, Lena Poe, Alice Flonaker and Mary Lea Hinds.

Mabel is survived by five sons; Herman (Betty) Haught, Middlebourne, Larry L. (Doris) Sr. Haught, New Martinsville, Landis (Christine) Haught, Soddy Daisy, TN, Harman (Ruth Ann) Haught, Paden City and Danny (Regina) Haught, Alma. Half sister Betty Riggs, Pennsboro. Ten grandchildren, one step grandchild, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grand daughters.

Friends will be received Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler where services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday with Pastor Louise Baker officiating.

Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Alma.
