Dorothy A. Baker, 90, of Rock Island, IL, died July 8, 2017, at Rosewood Care Center in Moline, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made out to American Cancer Society.

Dorothy was born December 7, 1926, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Goldie) Haynie. She married Lowell Howard on April, 27, 1944 in Rock Island, IL and preceded her in death March, 15, 2004. She was employed by Jaydon in Milan, IL.

Survivors include daughter Susan “Susie” Zornig (West Palm Beach, FL); son Dennis (Karen) Baker, Sebastian, FL; brother, Kenneth (Jean) Haynie, East Moline, IL; grandchildren Matt Zornig, Jennifer (Quintin) Harris, Roger (Angie) Johnson, Nathan Johnson; and great grandchildren Keegan, Jack and Finn Harris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters Pauline Ford, Helen Meir and Wilena Cramer; brothers Herman, Gerald, James, Robert, and Charles.
