Dorothy M. Haynie, 79, Eufaula, Okla., formerly of Moline, died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Batesville, Ark.
Dorothy was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Moline, the daughter of Edward and Pearl Walters Welvaert. She married Albert "Speed" Haynie Feb. 8, 1941, in Davenport.
She was a custodian for the Cushman School System, Cushman, Ark., retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Cushman Fire Department Auxiliary.
She loved being with her family, cooking and playing Bingo with friends.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, one son, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; brother and sisters-in-law, Edward and Vicki Welvaert, and Evelyn Welvaert, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard, June 8, 2001, and a brother, Robert.
