Betty Jo Clark Helm, 80, of Melbourne died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at her home.
Born Jan. 20, 1933, in Morrilton, she was the daughter of Wendell and Dona Davidson Clark. She was united in marriage to J.W. "Red" Helm on July 3, 1952, in Melbourne. She was a homemaker. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of Melbourne Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years; two brothers, David Clark of Melbourne and James Clark of Springfield, Mo.; and a nephew, Kevin Clark of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Ann Helm Twyford.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel with Finis Brewer officiating. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Kelby Gulley, Gavin Gulley, Phillip Helm, Bruce Helm, Sam Helm and Kenny Helm.
Honorary pallbearers were Glen Wiles and Doyle Watson.
