June Pauline Hemming Blair, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017. June was born June 23, 1924, to John Sanford and Ruth Pauline Wale Hemming in Baker, Oregon. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Salt Lake City.

She was introduced to Asiel Williams Blair by her cousin, and they were married on May 21, 1942. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 21, 1951.

June worked at Hill Air Force Base for 23 years. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many years in the laundry of the Bountiful Utah Temple and as a Church-service missionary in the membership locator department.

June is survived by her three daughters, Gail June (Richard) Mitchell, Susan Kay (George) Foster, and Ellen (Donald) Payne; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Asiel, and their son, Robert.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
