83, of Ocala, FL, died April 8, 2007 at Sylvia Hospice House in Ocala, FL. A native of Syracuse, NY, he relocated to Marion County from Syracuse in 1982. He was a retired U.S. Postal Carrier, a veteran of the US Marine Corp. WWII serving at Iwo Jima and receiving the purple heart. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Vergara of Chittenango; his daughters, Alberta Olschewske of Ocala, FL; Diane Wolfe of Creighton, MO, Patricia Dober of Liverpool; his sons, Gary Hemming of Powder Springs, Georgia, Robert Mahar of Jacksonville, FL; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Mahar Hemming and his son, Stewart Hemming. A family service will be Saturday, May 5 at 12 noon at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk.
