Hazel Marie Hendrix, age 80, of Witts Springs, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Ozark Health Medical Center in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born in Eula, Arkansas on September 9, 1931 to Wert Hendrix and Gertie (Woodard) Hendrix.

Hazel worked at Flintrock Shirt Factory for over 30 years and was a member of Falling Water Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, tending her many farm animals, piecing quilts and music. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and the banjo.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Delford and Belford Hendrix, Thomas (Son) Hendrix, Vernon (Pete) Hendrix and Earl (Boy) Hendrix; three sisters, Ethel Ruff, Ida (Sister) Dean and Edna Laymon; seven nephews and one niece.

She is survived by one brother, Troy Hendrix; one sister, Maudie Hendrix Kiplinger; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Hazel will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 25, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Chisum officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Joe Ruff, Jimmy Dale Hendrix, Jeff Magness, J.W. Hendrix, Harold Hendrix and Donnie Jay Switzer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dean, Darrell Hendrix and Earl W. Hendrix.
