Ellen Jane Henry, 70, a former Charlevoix resident, died Tuesday, Jan 26, 1988 at Saginaw General Hospital. A funeral was held Thursday, Jan 28, 1988 at the W H Case Funeral Home Co in Saginaw. The Rev George Serour officiated and interment was in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mount Morris, MI.
The former Ellen J Hayes was born July 22, 1917 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Samuel Leroy and Blanch Mae (Dunlap) Hayes. She married Francis Orren Henry at Saginaw on April 29, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1964. Mrs Henry was a registered nurse and former staff nurse at Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital. She had lived in Saginaw before moving to Charlevoix in 1978. She returned to Saginaw in October, 1987.
Survivors include: one son, Bob Henry of Charlevoix; one daughter, Mrs Ellen Ramirez of Saginaw; four grandchildren, Kerri and Anthony Ramirez of Saginaw, and Emily and Kayla Henry of Charlevoix; one sister, Charlotte Smith of Berrien Springs.
