He married Mary Wetsel in Princeton in 1936.
He operated the Henschel Roofing Company in Bismarck for 31 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, Bismarck; children, Robert, Bismarck; mrs. James (Mary Ann) Ulfers, Beach, ND; Donald, Wichita Falls, Tex; and Mrs. Arman (Kathryn) Doll, Billings, Mont; a brother, Robert, Minneapolis; and six grandchildren.
The funeral was Sept 10 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Bismarck and there was a wake Sept 11 at the Kaun Funeral Home, Princeton, with Father Maurice Suchy officiating.
Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton
