She was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Lima to William and Eva Marie Deafendeffen Hershberger, who preceded her in death. On July 6, 1985, she married Kenneth C. Augsburger, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Augsburger was a homemaker who loved to collect angels, bells and teapots. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Her favorite pastime was baby-sitting. She was a dedicated wife, a wonderful mother and a loving grandmother.
Survivors also include three sons, Eric L. (Libby) Hullinger, of Michigan, Roy D. Hullinger, of Russells Point, and Danny Hullinger, of Indiana; two stepsons, Gary Lee (Carla) Augsburger, of Columbus, and Kenneth C. Augsburger, of Texas; two daughters, Bonnie (James) Cummings, of Yorktown, Ind., and Melissa (Kevin) Miller, of Russells Point; a stepdaughter, Erma (Paul) Miller, of Texas; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, William (Nancy Johns) Hershberger and Richard Hershberger, both of Lima, and Ronnie (Kathy) Hershberger, of Bluffton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Burt Hershberger; and a sister, Linda Jarman.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Eastside Chapel. Pastor John Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
