Canfield- Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Sally Baird who died early Wednesday morning. Mrs. Baird was born November 8, 1937 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Garity) Hershberger.
Mrs. Baird was a Shareholder in the Baird Brothers Saw Mill in Canfield, a member of the Berlin Center United Methodist Church, a 1956 graduate of South High School and had a love for animals especially dogs.
Two sons Mark of Canfield and Scott of Salem, three grandchildren Tyler, Lydia and Mark Jr. and two brothers Guy and Jack Hershberger both in Michigan survive her.
Mrs. Baird was preceded in death by her husband Howard L. Baird whom she married June 18, 1960 died November 8,, 1994, one sister Jane Hoffman and one brother Thomas Hershberger.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday morning at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley or the Multiple Scleroses Association.
