Anna Heyerdahl, 81, of 13th and Chestnut Streets, Clarkston, died Tuesday morning at her home of infirmities of age. She was a retired librarian from the Clarkston Library.
She was born March 22, 1894, at Lake Park, Minn., to Carl and Agnes Heyerdahl, Later she attended Carleton College at Northfield, Minn., and taught at Roseau, Twin Valley, Pelican Rapids and Whitehall, Minn.
She moved to Clarkston in 1945 and was hired as a librarian. She retired in 1960.
She was a member of the Sacajawea Study Club of Clarkston and the Sons of Norway Lodge of Clarkston.
She is survived by two sisters, Signe Larsen of Clarkston and Magnhild Sunset of Salem, Ore.
The funeral will be held at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. A. L. Abrahamson officiating. The time is pending. Burial will be at Vineland Cemetery under the direction of Merchant Funeral Home.
