Frances de l'Eau, loving Mother and Grandmother passed to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in San Luis Obispo. Fran was born in June 1935 in Long Beach, CA to parents Clyde and Ruth J. Hickman. She was a devout Episcopalian and she loved to read, work in the garden, and watch old movies. She appreciated all types of music and enjoyed the live performances at the PAC and attending the Brown Bag Concerts. Fran was a member of PEO for 37 years and made many friends over the years from her association with the organization. Fran had the sweetest smile and was known for her hugs. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Jones and son-in-law Dave of San Luis Obispo, daughter Lisa Ramsey (Phillip) of Tucson, AZ.; step children Arnee, Lyn, and Jim de l'Eau; nieces Cindy Fix (Mike) and Missy Lewicki (John), three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews. Fran was preceded in death by her husband Jay P. de l'Eau and sister Bobbie Harris. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
