SAN BENITO, TX. — Jeanelle Hill Colvin
Long time resident of San Benito, died early Sunday morning, November 15, 2009, at Harlingen Medical Center.

Jeanelle was born in 1919 in Coolidge, Texas. She graduated from University of Texas at Austin and later married her beloved husband, Norton Anderson Colvin, who preceded her in death in 1973.

She is survived by her son Norton Anderson Colvin, Jr. (Lynn) of Brownsville her daughter Marjory Colvin Batsell (Barry), also of Brownsville, three grandchildren Norton Anderson "Trey" Colvin, III (Alison), Stephanie Jeanelle Rollins (Derek), James Brock Batsell, and two great-grandchildren.

She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held today from 1 to 7 at Henry Thomae Funeral Home on Bowie street.

Church services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in San Benito with Danny Longoria officiating. Private burial will be held at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito

Services are under the direction of Henry Thomae Funeral Home 701 N. Bowie San Benito. 399-9992.
