Born Jan. 22, 1908 in Hagaman, she was the daughter of Charles S. and Jane Coyle Hillman. Mrs. Dalton attended local schools and lived in the Amsterdam area until moving to Florida in 1972. She was a secretary for 40 years at Colette Manufacturing Co. in Amsterdam, retiring in 1971.
Mrs. Dalton was a former member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Hagaman and St. Mary's Church in Amsterdam. She married Frederick A. Dalton Jr. on Jan. 5, 1935.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Judith Weaver of Greensboro, N.C., and Daneen Graff of Beverly Hills, Fla.; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hagaman Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Matulewicz officiating.
