Albert Myron Hilton, age 86, of Provo, Utah, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2012 after a life full of service to all he met.

Myron, to those who knew him well, was born on February 21, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to Albert Myron Hilton and Amelia Mae Saucier. He was the oldest of three children. His siblings were Marilyn and Merton Hilton. He graduated from Banning Sr. High in February, 1944 and enlisted in the Navy a few weeks later. He served his country in the Pacific during World War II.

On Sept. 6, 1947 he married his sweetheart, Donna Nielsen, and they had three children. They remained an example of love and devotion until Donna's death in 1995. After her passing, he moved to Utah to live with his grandson, Mike, and his family, who had the privilege of caring for him until his death.

Myron worked as a house painter and paint foreman for the McEachern Co. until he retired in 1978. The most important thing to him was family. He lovingly served his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for all of his life. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was a humble, loving man who touched everyone he met. He will be most remembered by those who loved him for his sense of humor and his never-ending kindness and compassion. He has been reunited with his sweet wife, parents, brother and many other family members on the other side.

He is survived by his sister, Marilyn DaFoe; his children, Sheryl (Bill) Meyer, Robert (Myrna) Hilton, and Nancy (Ray) Miller; 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 5, 2012 at 11:00 am at 303 West 3700 North, Prove. Viewing will be at the church from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be the Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on Saturday, December 8th at 10:00 am.
