Elizabeth L. Armold, age 91, former resident of 124 Second St., Shelby died Saturday, January 7, 2006 in Heritage Care Center.

Born February 25, 1914 in Elyria to Charles and Olive Amanda (Rusk) Hinckley she had been a Shelby resident since 1956. Mrs. Armold was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and had been employed with the former Galion Overcoat Company. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Survivors include one brother, Donald Hinckley of Columbus; two sisters, Mildred Draper and Lois Faith Marshman, both of Galion; her special friends, Jane Carpenter of Willard and Mary White of Shelby; nieces; nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Schrag; second husband, Lester Armold in 1985 and two brothers, Charles and Arthur Hinckley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Pastor Rick Szilagyi will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial expressions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
