Mrs Johanna Dufloth, mother of Fred Dufloth, died last Sunday at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Fred Schwabe in Aberdeen SD. Funeral services were held last Wednesday with the Rev LA Westenberger of the Zion Lutheran Church officiating and burial was made in the Riverside cemetery at Aberdeen.
She was born July 18, 1853, at Hoffnungstal,Russia, where she grew to womanhood. In 1876, she was married to Christian Dufloth and with their family,they came to the United States in 1903, making their home at Java SD.l Seven years ago they moved to Aberdeen where they have since resided. She was preceded in death by her husband about two years ago.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters. Mrs Dufloth died of injuries sustained in a fall downstairs a few days before her death.
