"Lewis Native Service Held
Susan Carol Hinson Barron, 30, died July 1 at Sun Ray Humana Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 4. The service will be at McDonald Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn D. Floyd, pastor of Freedom Holy Temple Church, and Dr. Gerald Hicks, Orlando, Florida, officiating. Interment will be in Swiss Cermetery.
Mrs. Barron is a native of Lewis County, a daughter of Donnie Turnbow McClenny of Montgomery, Alabama, and the late Paul Hinson. She taught high school English.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a daughter, Mariena Lynn Barron of St. Petersburg; a brother, Randy Hinson, Warner Robins, Georgia; a sister, Donna Cody of Eufala [sic], Alabama; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Esther Turnbow of Hohenwald."
