Mary Alice Hoag Eisenbart was born in Yates Center, KS in 1915. She passed away at the age of 89 in 2004. She was a very loving and caring person. She was all about family. She grew up in Iola, KS and Yates Center, KS. She went by Alice. She had two brothers and three sisters. Her brother's names were Daniel and Paul. Her sister's names were Ester, Sister Serita, and Rita. Serita was a nun. Ester and Rita are her only living siblings as of today(2010). Alice went to school in Yates Center, KS. Alice meet John Eisenbart, her husband, in Yates Center and they were married there. They also raised their children in Yates Center. John and Alice's children were Betty, Norb, Harold, Pat, Bernard, Pauline, Jeanie, Tom, and Kenny. She had 9 children, 31 grandchildren, and over 60 great grandchildren. She never worked outside the home, but she was an excellent homemaker and caregiver to her husband and children. John and Alice moved to Colorado when all the children were grown and moved out. They farmed and raised cattle there. They then moved Parsons, KS and then moved to Iola, KS. Iola, KS was where Alice and John lived until they passed away.
