The daughter of Herman H. Jansing and Mary Langferman Jansing, Elizabeth Jansing Hoffmann was born July 22, 1874 in Indiana. She married Henry Hoffmann. She died January 8, 1936 at age 61 and is buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Wilder, Campbell County, Kentucky. His heritage was German.
