Edythe "Patty" Hofmann Armstrong of McCandless died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Matthew R. Armstrong. Mother of Susan Edythe McKeeman of Villa Rica, Ga., and James H. Armstrong of Frisco, Texas. Sister of Audrey Meyer, John Hofmann and the late Dorothy Junker, Jean Natale and Robert A. Hofmann Jr. Grandmother of Sam and Ben McKeeman. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Highway, Ross, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Allegheny Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Western Pennsylvania, P.O. Box 100, Warrendale, PA 15086. www.simonsfuneralhomeinc.com.
