MILL CREEK - Graveside services for Geraldine Blalock, 82, formerly
of Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lightning Ridge Cemetery, Roff.
Officiating will be the Rev. Claude Williams.
Mrs. Blalock died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Norman Regional
Hospital in Norman. She was born July 19, 1925, at Allen, to Joseph
A. Martindale and Julia Holeman.
She married Dewain F. Killian Nov. 14, 1942, in Ada. He died April
18, 1986. She married S.L. Blalock Sept. 6, 2002, in Noble.
Mrs. Blalock moved to the Ada area in 1945 from Roff. She was a
homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Mill Creek.
Survivors include her husband, S.L. Blalock, of the home; two sons,
Ronnie D. Killian, Okemah, and Terry Blalock, and his wife Belinda of
Sulphur; three stepsons, Brian Blalock and his wife April, Sulphur,
Richard Blalock and his wife Christy, Coalgate, and David Blalock and
his wife Bridget, Springer; a daughter, Anita Owen, Bridgeport,
Texas; three stepdaughters, Sandra Hector and her husband Neal,
Washington, Oklahoma, Brenda Stover and her husband Bart, Sulphur,
Sherry Pruitt, Oklahoma City; a sister, Maxine Kerly, Pauls Valley;
three grandchildren, Teri Smith and her husband Ron, Bridgeport,
Texas, Jerry Owen and his wife Andrea, Pooleville, Texas, and Sherrie
Forster and her husband Mitch, Ennis, Texas; and eight great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewaine Killian; her
parents, Joseph and Julia Martindale; two brothers, Clarence and
Clintis Martindale; and a sister, Frances Brock.
