Bettie Jane Ashby, 80, of Madisonville, passed away at 9:25 P.M., Monday, November 1, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born March 8, 1930 in Caldwell Co., KY to the late Luke and Cora Terrell Holeman.

Mrs. Ashby was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Molle of Madisonville; two sons, Roger (Gaye) Matheny of Madisonville and Dennis (Nena) Matheny of Hanson; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Partlow officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson.
